General description
This reagent uses water-soluble AMPS-based polymers, low-molecular-weight amides and polyhydroxycarboxylic acid. Aggregation of the molecular chains reduces filter-cake permeability. The polymer provides strong dispersion and resistance to high temperatures and salt.
Performance characteristics
- Suitable for fresh water through to saturated brine.
- Fluid loss: <100 mL API FL.
- Good solubility and compatibility.
- Compatible with any class of cement.
- Good cement slurry stability, with free fluid close to zero.
- Short thickening transition time, with a nearly right-angle thickening profile.
- Suitable for cement slurries of any density.
- Has some retarding effect on cement slurries.
