Fluid Loss Reducer TRCF-282S

General description

TRCF-282S is a water-soluble, AMPS-based polymer fluid-loss reducer. Aggregation of its molecular chains reduces filter-cake permeability. It is widely used in salt-bearing formations (salt concentrations up to 36%) and high-temperature wells. It is compatible with retarders, dispersants and CaCl2.

Performance characteristics

  • TRCF-282S is a polymerization modifier made from AMPS, low-molecular-weight amides and polyhydroxycarboxylic acids.
  • Suitable for fresh water through to saturated brine.
  • Fluid loss: <150 mL API FL.
  • Good solubility and compatibility.
  • Compatible with any class of cement.
  • Good cement slurry stability, with free fluid close to zero.
  • Short thickening transition time, with a nearly right-angle thickening profile.
  • Suitable for cement slurries of any density.
  • Has some retarding effect on cement slurries.
