General description
TRXR-50S adheres to cement hydration products to limit contact with water and chelates Ca2+ to prevent the early formation of crystal nuclei. This delays thickening.
Performance characteristics
- Contains sulfonate, organic acid and several other compounds.
- Reduces cement slurry consistency and improves rheology.
- Extends thickening time and increases pumping speed. In medium-depth or deep wells, the cement slurry can have a nearly right-angle thickening profile.
- Usually dry blended.
